Death of a PC

It happened over the weekend. While in the middle of Hellgate London I got the blue screen of death and the desktop rattled. It had died. *sniff sniff*

I have never had a PC actually die on me before. I feel like I have lost a friend. I knew I was going to need to upgrade soon. I mean my old dell 3000 was getting a little long in the tooth. I was not prepared for its death however.

I spent most of Saturday night going from between complete panic and rage at it's betrayal.

Then I pulled out my PC gamer magazine and went shopping online.

Here's what I ended up with.

I have to admit, I have no idea what most of that means. I am CLUELESS! However my guy tells me I did ok.

So I am in waiting. I have an ancient machine to use until my new one gets here. It is supposed to ship on the 8th. Seems waaaayyyyy too long to me. Then again I have been known to be impatient from time to time.

Hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!
