I am not a big fan of Tuesdays. I know the rest of the world complains about Mondays, but well, Tuesday's and I just have nothing to love about each other.
It's my static group day :) YES!!!
Everyone can remember, or imagine, gathering around a table with 4 or 5 of their friends to play a game of Dungeons and Dragons. Pizza's ordered, soda is passed around to everyone, dice are being stacked and spun by various friends and there is a pile of source books a story high somewhere by the Dungeon Master.
Well, TNT ( the meaning of this acronym changes from week to week. Totally Nekkid Team, Tuesday Night Team, etc.) Tuesday's on my home server of Ghallanda remind me of old style DND. My hubby and I play along with 3 other people. We are the core group. Others people drop by to play, but mainly, it's the 5 of us through every adventure, misadventure and loot run.
We have so much fun though. We play from about 7:30 in the evening to 10:30 at night. Since Dungeons and Dragons Online has integrated voicechat, which is awesome in quality, I find myself chatting with three people from across the United States with whom a real friendship has developed. We've been steadily playing together since January of this year. It's a long time in the MMO world.
This new health plan I am on has me miffed though. Tuesday's are when I eat junky take out food and drink a gallon of soda while I game. Somehow weight watchers thinks this is bad.
Dinner tonight will be an oven pizza with a side of salad and some diet coke. I have saved up all day so I can have pizza.
Oh, and the hubby wants to play tennis tonight. WHY? What is the point of running around after a yellow ball?
